Solving New Employee Training Problems With LMS

Learning  Management Systems (LMS) are online tools that are used for live or prerecorded lessons. This article talks about how companies, particularly their HR department, do not spend enough time training new employees. This infographic by Quantum Workplace shows that less than half of surveyed companies have a satisfactory onboarding program and according to GoHR it results in 40% of employees quitting within the year.
It is understandable that a lot of companies are “too busy” to “spoonfeed” a new employee. The person is supposed to be a trained professional and an adult. However, even adults and professionals would need tools and resources to do what they are supposed to do. This article talks about using an LMS as a solution to both problems. It saves the corporation time training employees, and it gives the new employee a valuable tool and resource to understand his job.
