This interesting whitepaper talks about how simply implementing a Learning Management System in a corporate environment or school is not a catch-all solution to training and knowledge gap between students and workers. The white paper found that a lot of information available for Learning Management system as a tool is “under the hood” information on the theories on how it’s supposed to work as a technology. There is very little (comparatively) information on how to utilize the tool to achieve its purpose.
Statistics from Topyx published early in 2018 shows interesting industry trends such as industry size, gamification, videography, adoption, and other technical aspects of the technology and industry. There are no statistics on how it actually “helped end-users learn” and the impact of that knowledge.
